Educational Photowalk
Poison Dart Frog from Central America.
I don't understand why the Texas Discovery Gardens has almost nothing from Texas in it.
I'm also not entirely sold on the idea that looking at an animal in a plastic box is educational. I wonder if, in the future, zoos will be AI-controlled holograms. That way, you could walk among the tigers and not get eaten, and no real tigers would become depressed weirdos who live in a pen for our amusement.
I mean, education.
Polka Dot Begonia from Central America.
I don't have a problem with importing plants, as long as it's not kudzu. Most of our crops are imported. The whole 'this isn't native' thing isn't a moral issue for me, where plants are concerned.
You can get a polka dot begonia like this from Home Depot.
Sara Longwing Butterfly, Central America.
Did you know butterflies taste with their feet? Me neither.
I guess I learned something after all.
